ON COPYWRITING

BUT FIRST, COFFEE.®

^That’s the slogan of Alfred Coffee. I love it, as does the internet. Sometimes, your slogan can grow bigger than you. See that trademark icon.

As a law school dropout (my one semester was plenty), I don’t know everything about what’s legal and what’s not. But, I do know that people LOVE TO SUE. So, just be careful whenever you’re taking INSPO. Don’t copy copy – it’s not worth it worth it.

ON FUNNEL HACKING

Here at Go-to-Millions, we accept cookies on every single website upon which we land.

I want to be served every ad POSSIBLE. You’re Going-to-Market – so study the market. And, the marketing.

Consider this a most-friendly reminder to accept cookies, to screenshot every ad creative that you see that stopped you personally in your tracks, and to CLICK every ad all the way through so that you can judge study:

: the landing page,

️: if the ad creative with the offer lead you to the exact offer that was just advertised to you,

: and hell – add everything you like to your cart and press checkout in the name of MARKET RESEARCH.

ON WEBSITES

BYOB (Build Your Own Bundle) on a website is SUCH AN UNLOCK. But, in my opinion, it has to be done well or it’s worse than not setting pre-kitted, pre-set configurations.

Here’s an example of BYOB that I think could be better: Foundrae

: I don’t mind the functionality of the builder, or the step by step single page flow. That’s great. Where I think this builder becomes almost impossible to complete checkout is in the imagery. How can someone build a super-expensive, 1 of a kind piece that they cannot see the final result? Here, you can choose your pieces but there’s no renders to support.

: It’s not cheap to vectorize each of these unique SKUs and to make this interactive – it’s a pretty penny. But, each of these necklaces is expensive – so you can really quickly do the math that justifies this work.

: Until you’re ready to go-live with a well executed builder, just don’t. Because it’s frustrating to build, but worse to receive because if you do complete checkout you’ve now potentially turned a hyper-loyal customer into a customer that will need to make a return. Just wait, or shoot the content configurations 1 by 1, or go 3D.

ON SHOPPING LOL

Sofia Richie’s wedding at Eden Roc sent me over the edge. The Chanel! The Dior Spa! And, the outfits. I know this entire week I haven’t shut up about Calle Del Mar, but seeing not 1 but 3 wedding guests wear the brand.

Also, yesterday I was complaining stating to my hubby about how I’m not sure what to wear to F1 and he went really quiet for an hour and then texted me this:
