GO-TO-MARKET TIP OF THE WEEK:
You cannot phone in the music you’re using in your ad creatives. I know that our libraries of legal music aren’t exactly overflowing but this is not a place to fuck up.
My team talks about music within our ads on a daily basis. We reject creatives during our internal revisions from going out to clients because of the song choice OFTEN. We fight about it.
The fights are good – everyone knows that music will be scrutinized and everyone takes it really seriously.
HigherDOSE is a brand whose ads have great music. Play them and then go to your own ads library and see how you stack up.

Bonne Maman: Because I asked Daniel what brand he’s into this week and he immediately sat up and said, “Bonne Maman. I love the brand story and the little ones they give out at restaurants.”
Good for you, honey! I love the favicon on site. I didn’t know they had that in them but most brands get this wrong and a wholesale jam brand got it right.

Ursa Major: For their honesty. 4.3 stars and 4.4 stars are shown – because the brand doesn’t cherry-pick reviews and therefore LIE. I love the honesty, and a 4.3 and a 4.4 aren’t bad in any way. What’s special (aside from the refreshing truth-telling) is the tag for NEW FORMULA that’s present on each.
