I completely conquer. ^ 

I asked my friends what they are eyeing for Memorial Day Weekend sales. I also have so much that’s already captured my attention that I’ll contribute to this list. 

I know we’ve got a few days until the weekend but the world feels like it’s already on sale so here’s what’s on our minds. I think there’s a marketing lesson in here, while we’re at it. 

P.S. When someone I am close to wants something – I covet it, too. I’m easily influenced. Word of mouth fucks me up. 

10 THINGS I’M CONSIDERING BUYING

1️⃣. My friend Berk is much cooler than me so she built her own custom Bauble Bar necklace but I’m not creative enough for that so I’m looking at this bag charm. It’s $10. $14 off. That’ll get me. 

I do really appreciate how clearly the promotional rules are listed on the PDP. 2 notes against stacked discounts. Deep respect for that clarity. Good to earmark. 

2️⃣. Carly of course linked me to something that wasn’t on sale. I really wish I didn’t know about this because I want it now but this is a Memorial Day Weekend wish list roundup. Carly – thanks but no thanks.

Who am I kidding I now want this. 

The bestseller and back in stock tags on the collection page guided my eye. I buy what’s popular. Easily influenced. 

3️⃣. Biossance is 25% off and I’m influenced by the fact that I’m 🤏 this close to running out of my Vitamin C. I actually have 2 in my cart right now but I stopped myself from buying because I was greeted with this checkout.

Shop Pay would have gotten me – I promise you that. There’s a lesson there for SURE. I’m now going to pause. I had 2 in my cart!!! But I just can’t handle filling in all this info right now – I have Go-to-Millions to write. 

4️⃣. My sister lets me use this when I stay with her. It’s 20% off for ‘Obsession Week’. Oribe makes such good stuff. 

Something you should know about me is I like Memorial Day Weekend sales to be named The Memorial Day Weekend sale. Old-fashioned like that. Anywho, I’m feeling inspired to copy her nonetheless.

Wish the discount didn’t apply in the cart and was present on the PDP. 

5️⃣. If you might remember, I’ve wanted this belt for almost a year. Aureum puts on an amazing holiday weekend sale. They ALWAYS run the same type of statics – they always serve to me early (been on sale for days now), and I always want this belt.

I think it’s time.

6️⃣. My husband already convinced me of this but we bought this Alen air purifier, on sale for for Memorial Day. 

I like the homepage messaging. ‘Our best and biggest annual sale event’. 

7️⃣. Wheeler is 25% off framed art and the code is SUMMER and I’m really considering. 

Found out about this because Paige Lorenze showed a picture of her living room and I liked the painting so I took a screenshot and asked Chat GPT where the painting was from and it led me here. Was the exact painting on the 1st try, BTW. 

8️⃣. Loftie is on sale and I convinced my sisters both to get these. Proud of myself. I want 1 more but I should refrain. Still on my mind and $89.99 off. 

The homepage has clear sales messaging but the PDP just has the discount without a story. Wish they’d update. 

9️⃣. Ayoh has been on my mind since I 1st saw it and today I was hit with a perfectly-timed early MDW ad that’s really making me think. If you’ve tried it and like, let me know – you’ll push me over the edge I’m sure of it.

🔟. Elemis is 25% off for MDW and Brett Chody swears by the sunscreen and I’m really curious. 

I did have to complete a puzzle to prove I’m a human when I googled it after I saw her post. I FAILED THE PUZZLE ON MY 1ST TRY. Embarrassing. Still highly considering and I do like when a brand heroes sunscreen for MDW. Well-timed.

PLEASE NOTICE THAT OF THE 10 THINGS I WANT…

– 2 are directly because of influencers. But you’d never know that because Brett Chody talking about the sunscreen made me google it – you can’t attribute that. Paige Lorenze posting her living room made me Chat GPT it – you can’t attribute that. 

– 4 are because my friends/ family told me to get them. We’re all over the map – an air purifier, a cardigan, a bag charm, and a UV hair mist thing. 

– 1 is because of Google paid search. I searched ‘red light lamp’ long ago and have since bought 3, made both of my sisters buy, and have told all of my friends. I’m still coveting a 4th. 

– 1 is from an IG ad I was served today, but I’ve been in the funnel for a long time – I’m sure I have an abnormally long consideration period for mayo compared to their usual customer but I’m still heavily considering! (Ayoh) 

– 1 that I’ve been considering for over a year – I don’t even remember when I 1st became aware of the brand. But now I know I like their ads so every promo-season I search them during holidays. This might be the year I really go for it. 

– 1 is something I actually “need” – I’m fresh out of their Vitamin C (Biossance). I still can’t get myself to buy it because the site is harsh. Even though the price is good. I think I will buy it – just when I can muster the strength.

THE BUYING JOURNEY IS SO COMPLICATED AND MAGICAL!!
