DANIEL’S NEW CLOGS

I bought my husband Birkenstock Bostons yesterday morning. ^^ I feel really good about the purchase but also I want to remind you that my options are limited (he’s a size 15 shoe size.)
Which is probably why I bought those Bostons within 10 minutes of finding them. Because I know from past experience that almost none of the brands I want to buy him are available in his size. I did, however, try to test my luck by starting my search on Mr. Porter where exactly 1 shoe is in his size. File those under absolutely not. π€’
I bring this up because while Birkenstock got me to convert quickly and with no discount (aside from a free shipping code that I was able to redeem by signing up for SMS), the experience had 2 very important gaps that I think they should address.
1. UPS Ground delivers on May 16th. For free. UPS 2 day delivers on May 16th. For a whopping $25. 2 days from Saturday is not Friday. Either the estimated arrival date is wrong, or 2 day shipping shouldn’t be an option.

2. Look at the welcome series on SMS. At 9:05am I’m texted the discount code to use (that’s good). At 9:06am I’m texted that over the next few days they’ll personalize my experience and help me shop. That’s terrible!! Someone who signs up for free shipping has intent to buy right now. Why tell them to hold for a few days?Β

Check Meta ads library and see what content is running from their page. This doesn’t cover ads that aren’t whitelisted from the creator, but it’s a good check.

WEEK 20/52
I know today is a national holiday but I must remind you that tomorrow we’re building our Memorial Day funnels. And, Father’s Day funnels. It’s a quick pivot but we can do it.
Before you go create anything new, go look to last year. Build a report that shows your video vs. statics. vs gifs last May. If static was top performing and top spending, that doesn’t mean you double-down there alone. It means you need better videos.
