GO-TO-MARKET TIP OF THE WEEK:Β
The order of operations for handling a back-in-stock with a waitlist:
1οΈβ£. Waitlist is emailed a heads up 1st, with a specific relaunch time + date for them to mark their calendars
2οΈβ£. Social announces the restock date at least 12 hours after the waitlist is informed
3οΈβ£. Waitlist non-openers are sent a resend
4οΈβ£. Day before drop, waitlist is set a reminder with an add to cal function
5οΈβ£. Waitlist is directly linked to shop – email goes out before any social post
Notice the preferential treatment given to those on the waitlist. They’ve given you their info, have bought in, and are on your list. Show respect.

BRAND OF THE WEEK:
The Connaught: Even the fanciest of brands, whose worst rooms are $1,200/night, can run offers. It’s okay. Nothing too scary happens.
FWIW, I’ve worked for brands that refuse to be promotional but then pull other levers that are honestly less efficient and less cool.
