GO-TO-MARKET TIPS OF THE WEEK:
Things I am passionate about:
1. I am firmly against pre-order, especially if your brand is new (the odds you fuck up and ruin your reputation are high). I am instead team waitlist. Do not take people’s money by promising a shipment date for items that are not in warehouse.
2. Subscription offers that reward longevity are how you build sustainable growth. As an example, 15% OFF your 1st month as a subscriber, 20% OFF your 2nd month and for forever.
3. Every time your brand has a launch, you should bank an order yourself across at least 2 devices to test. It’s anti-aging.
4. You should add a +25% line item on all Canadian carts if your product is made in the USA and shipping to Canada. You can’t afford not to – Tariffs are here. (Alex taught me this).
ADDED TO MY WISH LIST THIS WEEK:
🌷: This Australian sunscreen. They had me at fragrance-free.
🌷: This Swedish candy. I didn’t know you could order online and I apologize for that.
🌷I’m not gonna do it but I’m going to think about it and I hope that’s enough for me because it has to be.
TOOL OF THE WEEK:
Banza and Olipop have 2 things in common. Both use minisocial for UGC. Both are in Ari Murray’s kitchen. With minisocial you get more than just UGC you can use on your marketing channels. You get micro influencers who share their content with their audience as well. Also, I’M PICKY about UGC – it CANNOT BE EMBARRASSING and it must feel real. I embarrass easily so when I tell you this is good enough for me I mean it. I use it. minisocial’s UGC works because they source creators that are appropriate for what you’re selling. Imagine that. A few stats for you, to highlight the power that is minisocial’s service. • Their TikTok ads drove a 50% decrease in cost per add-to-cart. • ^ They drive top 1% CVR on TikTok ads. • They generated 7 million views for a client. • They drove 92% higher organic social engagement. P.S. Set up your first minisocial campaign because right now you get 15% off. Going away soon. P.P.S. And, there’s no drama or delay because minisocial’s projects are managed for you. A managed service! Love that! |
BRAND OF THE WEEK:
Cowboy Colostrum: Because of content like this. I literally didn’t know it was an ad, and I work with them. LOL.
It’s a little bit controversial in the comments but I stand by my original statement. I DID NOT KNOW IT WAS AN AD. Not every piece of content is going to be posted to only raving fans, and that’s okay. 14,000 people have liked this in a day.
MEME OF THE WEEK:

TIME TO APPLY:

WEBSITE OF THE WEEK:
Táche Pistachio Milk: THE WIGGLING CTA!!!!!! Adorable. Need to try this.

Speaking of Táche, my husband is level 10 obsessed with it. I will be, too, if they align those CTAs but keep the wiggle!!!!!!
