My best friend Carly is also my coworker. Well, we started as coworkers and the best friendship developed over time – for me it was quick but I think she really started liking me 3 months in when she realized I could be trusted for shopping advice. 

Carly is the Creative Director of Sharma Brands and so technically I’m her boss but I hate saying that because she bosses me around and I look up to her infinitely. Carly oversees our Design and Creative teams (over 20 incredible creatives report into her directly!), and Carly is a true genius at Paid Creative. Nobody better in this business, and no – that is not an invitation to poach her. LOL.

Whenever I talk to Carly in slack – I use this emoji. It’s a CD. Creative Director. Get it? She likes it I tell myself. 

Without further ado – today she’s sharing many of the ad styles that she sent our Creative team this week. EACH OF THE BRANDS SHE FOUND INSPO FROM DO A PHENOMENAL JOB. These are styles that our team of award-winning static and motion ad designers will create paid content from. From there, our Paid team will test these ads every single Monday across our ad accounts (mixed in with the iterations Carly and our Creative team create that week + a whole bunch of other net-new concepts that are client-specific). In summary, Carly has the eye and I love her and you can’t steal her. 

Every creative that we launch has a story behind it. It also is something we judge the full story against. Our full team uses Northbeam’s MMM+ mixed media modeling so that we don’t just a single creative by itself – we need the full picture to judge our winners.
