GO-TO-MARKET TIP OF THE WEEK:
I think there’s a time and a place for opening up new customer exclusions. That moment, in my opinion, is when there’s a large product range that serves the same customer.
It’s easy to think cross-selling happens on owned channels once you’ve captured the customer. And, of course it does and of course it should. But, if I’ve just bought creatine from you, why wouldn’t I be a great candidate for a dialed in glutamine ad?
Aren’t we optimizing for LTV??? Don’t we want to be top of mind? What is going to help us with incremental rev?
^ Questions I’m asking myself a lot these days.
MEME OF THE WEEK:
Me on calls using closed captions.

ADDED TO MY WISHLIST THIS WEEK:
👒: Do I sail? No. Do I want a fleet? YOU CAUGHT ME.
3️⃣: *These 3 premier loyalty events (esp day 2 or 3. Maybe all 3)?
⛱️: Colombia Burbano comes highly recommended.
🦞: I still want them and now of course sold out in my size.
*brought to my attention by our sponsor // i can’t wait to go
BRAND OF THE WEEK:
Victoria Beckham Beauty: A fab example of holding your line. Colour not color. Because this is brand with proud UK roots, even when the ad is serving to the US. Little details that are so posh. 😉

WEBSITE OF THE WEEK:
Claridge’s: Is this site optimized? No, the opposite. But, does the hero video CARRY? Yes, quite far.
